A series that pays homage to the fresh blooms of a spring tulip flower, the three shades bunch together with the same delicate beauty as a flower bouquet. Inspired by a memory of observing flower handlers in an Italian market, a shade fuses an organic and soft expression with the meticulous and tight geometry of Le Klint’s renowned pleating style. Paired with subtle oak detailing and a braided linen cord that symbolically acts as the flower stem, the contemporary chandelier exudes simple Nordic elegance.
Creating an alluring, relaxing glow, the chandelier can be positioned low next to a lounge chair in a living room, or up high in a dining room or hallway.
Danish designer, Sinja Svarrer Damkjaer attained her Masters degree in Engineering at Aalborg University, specialising in industrial design.
Graduating in 2007, Damkjaer’s final project was the creation of the first version of The Bouquet, a fresh interpretation of classical cross-pleating in contemporary lighting design. Going on to work with Le Klint, the beautiful pendant was added to their collection, combining classical Le Klint cross-pleating with Damkjaer’s innovative, timeless designs.
