Part of the stunning Bouquet collection, Sinja was inspired by a symbolic memory of observing flower handlers in an Italian market, going on to design a shade that pays homage to a tulip’s organic, soft expression. Made from a delicate shade with distinctive precision pleating, paired with a natural textile cord and subtle oak detailing, the serene pendant embodies beautiful Nordic elegance and aesthetics. Creating a warming, inviting ambience, the pendant's simple silhouette can be matched with any interior space, perfect for hanging low in a living room, or clustered over a dining table or kitchen counter.
Danish designer, Sinja Svarrer Damkjaer attained her Masters degree in Engineering at Aalborg University, specialising in industrial design.
Graduating in 2007, Damkjaer’s final project was the creation of the first version of The Bouquet, a fresh interpretation of classical cross-pleating in contemporary lighting design. Going on to work with Le Klint, the beautiful pendant was added to their collection, combining classical Le Klint cross-pleating with Damkjaer’s innovative, timeless designs.
