The hand turned Italian marble creates a luxurious, intricately detailed base that is a wonder to study. Topped with an airy steel shade that contains an integrated LED light source, the contrasting shapes and materials form an eye-catching atmospheric structure that charmingly captures your gaze. A golden brass ball joint unites the base and shade together, creating a rotation point that allows the shade to be tipped; generating varied directions of light that not only illuminate the surrounding space, but allow for light to shine down onto the marble. With a dimmer at the top of the shade allowing for adaptability and smooth changes in atmosphere, the Eddy Table Lamp is a functional and elegant piece that is available in 3 organic tones, grey, white and black.

“Honesty is what makes a product understandable, and is what describes functionality of the products. If you understand the product, it doesn’t need any explanation. The essence of my design is for it to be bought and used. Therefore it has to satisfy not only the functional aspects, but also the psychological- and aesthetic needs. For me simplicity describes the true identity of objects, and makes them trustworthy. In my designs I try not to add any unnecessary details. I work with simplicity by highlighting the necessities instead of hiding them. It gives the product a simple and honest expression.”
