Reminiscent of the architectonic structures of times gone by, the small-scale Last Order Table Lamp takes its rippled texture directly from that of the ancient column. Standing only 14cm high, the toy-like table lamp is easily transferable from indoor to outdoor spaces, making it a highly complimentary companion to an array of environments.
Available in polished inox and equipped with a rechargeable battery, Last Order is a highly practical lighting solution, perfect for illuminating dining areas, terraces and garden spaces.
Positioned between fine art and design, Michael Anastassiades creates objects that are minimal, utilitarian and almost mundane, yet full of vitality one might not expect.
He launched his studio in 1994 to explore contemporary notions of culture and aesthetics through a combination of product, furniture and environmental design. The studio’s philosophy is a continuous search for eclecticism, individuality, and timeless qualities in design.
Michael Anastassiades trained as a civil engineer at London’s Imperial College of Science Technology and Medicine before taking a masters degree in industrial design at the Royal College of Art. He lives and works in London.
